Neck and back pain are common
Many adults experience neck or back pain at some point. Long sitting hours, mobile use, poor posture, previous injuries, and age related changes are common contributors. Most spine and neck problems improve with structured conservative care.
Problems we commonly evaluate
- Neck pain with stiffness or muscle spasm.
- Upper back or lower back pain.
- Pain radiating to the arm or leg.
- Posture related pain, including desk and mobile related strain.
- Degenerative spine changes seen on X-rays or scans.
Our approach to spine and neck pain
- Detailed clinical examination and history.
- Digital X-ray when required to assess alignment and degeneration.
- Pain control with short term medication when necessary.
- Physiotherapy focused on posture, mobility, and muscle balance.
- Education on daily activity modification.
Surgery is not the first step. Many patients improve with the above measures when followed consistently.
When further evaluation is needed
Advanced imaging or referral is considered if there are warning signs such as progressive weakness, numbness, bowel or bladder symptoms, or pain not responding to conservative care.
