No. Many soft tissue and muscular problems can be diagnosed with history and examination. X ray is advised when it changes treatment, such as suspected fracture or arthritis.
Is digital X ray safe
Digital systems use controlled amounts of radiation. Only required views are taken, and extra care is used in children and in women who may be pregnant.
Will you share the images if I need review elsewhere
Yes. If you need review at another hospital for surgery or a second opinion, images can be shared or printed so that you do not have to repeat the test.
Can I walk in only for X ray without consultation
The facility is mainly for patients who consult at OrthoCure. If you are coming only for an X ray, a brief clinical review is still advised so that the right views are taken and the study is used meaningfully.
